The poignant paradoxes of the human experience is what I am always coming back to... light and darkness, expansion and contraction, the intrisic freedom of the boundless / timeless spirit willingly limiting "itself" to a vulnerable vehicule of flesh and skin... sometimes free, sometimes bound, sometimes both. I translate my own insights about it into visuals using various media such as painting, photography and writing.

The difficulty of putting these subtle feelings into any kind of language is a challenge which I am never tired of embracing, –language itself being one of my favourite fields of investigation. It led me to explore possible ways of cross disciplinary expression.

My interest in education, sharing what I have learned about "ways of seeing", is for me an integral part of my responsibilities and joy as an artist. –Refer to the page Ways of Seeing on this site
